Oh, the webs we weave. As we stumble through the twilight of this pandemic, some news seems to slip through the cracks. Barely a whisper on the wind, the CDC has stopped the distribution of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine.
Now, how did that happen?
In the midst of the confusion and fear that's been COVID's bread and butter, we find ourselves in a place where information is being selectively dispersed, as if the powers-that-be don't trust us with the full truth. Last year, the CDC quietly revised the emergency use authorization of the J&J vaccine. They moved it out of the frontline, reserving it only for adults who, due to some cosmic bad luck, cannot access or tolerate other vaccines.
"After conducting an updated analysis, evaluation and investigation of reported cases, the FDA has determined that the risk of thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS), a syndrome of rare and potentially life-threatening blood clots in combination with low levels of blood platelets with onset of symptoms approximately one to two weeks following administration of the Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine, warrants limiting the authorized use of the vaccine," the agency wrote at the time."
This change is directly linked to the alarming incidence of a clotting condition known as thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS) post-vaccination. These cases have stirred the pot, casting doubt on the safety of the vaccine.

So, here's the question - were they hoping we wouldn't notice?
This cloak and dagger approach to public health raises more questions than answers. It speaks volumes to the true nature of the situation we're all stuck in. One thing is certain - the powers-that-be have a lot of explaining to do.
